If you are receiving the “invalid account” / “authorization failed” / “unauthorized” messages when trying to login to MT4 it will mean you are unable to connect.  These messages are possibly related to either an incorrect password or an incorrect server selection. It could also be the incorrect MT4 login number, so please check that first. Please be sure to select the EagleFX-Demo for your demo account or the EagleFX-Live when logging in to your live trading account.

EagleFX does not offer training for MT4. However, if you go directly to the MetaTrader4 website, there are many useful web pages that can be of use to you.  There are plenty of resources on the internet such as forums/videos in order for you to practice your trading strategies. Eagle FX Support does not offer any trading advice.

To create a new trading account, please click on 'Trading Accounts' in the left-hand column of your account and then select 'Open a Trading Account'. You may then select the currency of your MT4 account (USD/BIT/GBP/EUR) and the leverage you prefer.  Finally, select 'Open Trading Account'. Your live account will now be listed in your "Trading Accounts" Tab. 

Before you can create a demo account via MT4 you will need to download MT4 to your windows computer and continue through the installation process. Once installed, proceed with the instructions below. 1) Click on “File” 2) Click on “Open an Account” 3) Select the “EagleFX-Demo” server 4) Proceed by clicking on “Next” 5) Select “New demo account” if it is not already selected 6) Proceed by clicking on “Next”

To reset your live MT4 password you will need to select 'Trading Accounts' from the left-hand side menu, select the 'Padlock symbol' next to the relevant account then select 'Reset Password'. The commission we charge is 6 USD per lot per trade. If your lot size is smaller then this changes because the commission is calculated per lot. For example, if you placed a trade with 0.1 lots, it would charge 0.6 cents.

Demo account login details are uniquely generated at the time the account is created.  Please make sure to make a safe note of the details when they are provided to you.  If you forget your login details or misplace them, you will need to create a new demo account.

Please note that the "Traders Password" is used to place trades. In contrast, the "Investors Password" effectively acts as a read-only log-in, which essentially will not allow any trades to be placed or modified.
